M5 multi-table automatic adhesive spreader

How it works

Up to 100 metres of track. Tables on both sides.

The M5 services multiple press or lay-up tables placed on either side of a long machine track. The track can extend up to 100 meters to service a large set of tables in continuous production.

An arm extends from the machine above the press table, where a trolley carries the adhesive spreader and moves it perpendicular to the track. The adhesive is applied through the spreader across the width of the panel.

The adhesive components are pumped through pipes and hoses laid in an energy chain at the side of the track, with the pump station positioned at the side of the production line. The pumps are air-driven piston type. Mixing ratio metering is done by mechanically linked measuring cylinders.

When work is complete, the spreader is cleaned in a flush and cleaning station. For one-component adhesive systems, the spreader is automatically immersed and protected in an oil tray to prevent contact with surrounding moisture.
