M1 and M2 are classic systems for pumping and spreading single-component moisture-cured polyurethane. Both are specialized in manufacturing small-to-medium sandwich panels.

The two systems are identical in pumping and metering. The difference is the spreader: M1 has a fixed spreader unit, M2 has a moving spreader unit.

The system works with a vertical lifting table where panels are stacked. Adhesive is applied in beads on a square surface. The operator selects the panel length and width, applies the core material on the working table, and presses the start button. The machine moves to the starting edge, opens the adhesive valves, activates a fine water spray to initiate cure, and applies adhesive while moving across the panel.

When the machine is at rest, nozzle protection boxes automatically cover the adhesive nozzles to prevent blockage.

M1 or M2?

Two configurations. One decision.

The choice between M1 and M2 is a strategic decision — it depends on production line layout. Each situation is unique, and the optimal solution requires individual assessment.

M1 — fixed spreader

Fixed spreader unit. Ideal for production lines with an existing flow of material on transport belts.

M2 — moving spreader

Moving spreader unit. Flexible solution that can reduce the need for complex material handling and save floor space. Technically more complex, but offers significant productivity gains in many setups.

Choices that change the line.

Pump optionsAir-driven piston pump (cost-effective, no advanced control system required) or electric rotary pump (more precise flow control, longer service life, swappable as a complete unit).
Spreader protectionWhen idle, the nozzles are lowered into a protective fluid (oil) to prevent moisture-induced blockage.
Continuous operationThe adhesive remains uncured while inside the system, enabling 24/7 production cycles.
