M4 — Single-Frame Automatic Spreader

M4 single-frame automatic adhesive spreader

How it works

A frame above the press table. Up to 20 metres.

The M4 services up to two press or lay-up tables placed after each other, each up to 20 meters long. The spreader unit is a frame rolling above the press table. The machine is designed to be easily integrated with existing press tables (delivery with new press tables is also possible).

A trolley on the spreader unit carries the adhesive spreader and moves it perpendicular to the table length. In the other direction the whole machine unit moves on the table track. The adhesive is applied through the spreader across the width of the panel.

Each adhesive component is pumped from a station at the side of the production line. The pumps are air-driven piston type, with mixing ratio metering by mechanically linked measuring cylinders.

Steel or plastic. Reusable or disposable.

Steel spreader

Cleaned in a flush station after work, reused. Long-life and serviceable.

Plastic spreader

Disposable, thrown away after use. Zero cleaning step.

For one-component adhesive systems, the spreader is automatically immersed and protected in an oil tray to prevent contact with the moisture in the surrounding air.
